OiKID – Company Overview

OiKID is an online English teaching platform founded in 2016, in Taipei, Taiwan. They are an ambitious start-up company that has begun to grow rapidly. They are looking for passionate, caring, and creative teachers that can be a positive addition to their exciting team.

Their students range between the ages of 3 to 15, and are based mainly in Taiwan and China. They have their own in-house designed platform, as well as their own in-house designed materials and curriculum, created by teachers from the US and the UK.

Their classes are 1-on-1, with 25 minute long sessions.

Job Description

• Pay rate: Minimum $10, Maximum $14
• Class size: 1 on 1
• Student ages: 3-15 years old
• Class Schedule: 9am-10pm BJT (peak hours 6-9pm)

Job Requirements

• Accents: Native North American, Native UK, Native Australian/New Zealand, Native Ireland, Native South Africa
• Degrees required: Bachelor or above
• Certification: No/Preferred
• Minimum 1 year teaching experience
• Hours per week: flexible
• Internet speed: Minimum uploading – 2 Mb/s, Min downloading – 8 Mb/s
